USA To all who we were able to see and share with .... Thanks!
To those we missed ... Sorry!
It was encouraging to have some of your precious time. We
enjoyed the food, fellowship and fun! Your commitment to us continues to amaze
and inspire us. The children were troopers at many of visits and enjoyed many
of our visits - thanks for understanding.
We wanted to see so many of you but time was too short. We visited three churches (Elmbrook, Brookfield CRC and Racine CRC - just missed a
visit to Community Pres) and worshipped with many great people. It is always encouraging to see how each church has grown and developed over the years.
Nigeria The return to Nigeria will be hectic. Ann and the kids will
reach "home" before Kyle as school begins August 10th. They are eager
to get back to Nigeria but still have a few things "to do" before
leaving - food, shopping, etc.
We return to a fairly calm situation as there has only been a
few incidents. We are anxious to see how our friends and projects have been progressing
without us!
Thanks again for your prayers and support!

The ABTStract follows Kyle & Ann Abts and their two wonderful children
Zion David and Gabrielle Evangeline in Nigeria. They both served, as
singles in Ivory Coast in the mid 1990's. They later married in the USA
and came to Nigeria in July 2000.
They have been working withChristian Reformed World Relief Committee(CRWRC)
in the area of relief and development in urban areas (cities of Jos, Lagos, Abuja
& Makurdi). Kyle was the
National Coordinator of Urban Ministry - empowering community leaders in literacy,
micro-credit, health, and Christian value formation - but will turn over the duties to Nigerian leaders over the next few months.
Prior to this hand-over, Kyle has been coordinating Sports Friends. This project works with local churches to empower leaders in utilizing sports as a "friendship" development and sharing of good news.
They raise theirsupportwithFood for the Hungry(FH-US),
but are on loan to CRWRC Nigeria to assist with their project
initiatives. They hope that all is well with you and appreciate taking
your time to visit their website! Please see the "Updates" page for the latest from Kyle and Ann, and the "Pictures" page for some recent photographs.
